Written Directions:

From Southampton and Winchester

Take the A34 north towards Newbury and Oxford. One mile after the Sutton Scotney Services leave the A34, taking the A303 (A30) west towards Andover and Exeter. This is Bullington Cross. Ignore all the Andover town centre signs, staying on the A303 dual carriageway until you see the signs for the A342, Ludgershall and Devizes, also the signs for the Portway Industrial Estate.

From Stockbridge

From Salisbury

As you approach Andover there is a roundabout adjacent to the Wyevale Garden Centre. Go straight ahead (1st exit) and take the first turn onto the A303, signposted Exeter, Devizes, Ludgershall etc. Once on the A303 take the next immediate exit (less than 100m) for the A342, Ludgershall and Devizes There are also signs for the Portway Industrial Estate.

Directions *

Leave the A303 at this exit (A342), going up the slipway to the first roundabout and taking the 3rd exit, which takes you over the top of the A303. You are now at a very big roundabout. Take the 3rd exit, which is almost all the way round. The exit you want says the Weyhill Road, local traffic only. (DO NOT take the 2nd exit, which says Portway Industrial Estate and Andover Town Centre.) As you start to go down the Weyhill Road you will have the Shell Petrol Station on your left.

You need to go down the Weyhill Road for approximately one mile. After the Shell garage there is a mini roundabout – go straight across (2nd exit), next some pedestrian traffic lights and a zebra crossing. Keep going straight ahead through all these until you see Tesco Metro on your left and the Ford Garage (Doves). Between Tescos and the Ford garage is a road on your left called The Drove. Turn Left into the Drove.

Go along the Drove until you reach Brackenbury, the 5th road on your left. Brackenbury is approximately half a mile along the Drove. Opposite the Brackenbury road you will see a road sign for Andover Tennis Club.

Turn Left into Brackenbury and follow this housing estate road straight ahead until you reach Andover Tennis Club. The courts are in front of you. Turn to your right to enter the car park and after parking your car, walk up the path on the far side (not the side that you drove in!) to the clubhouse.

From Newbury.

Approaching Andover from the A34 going south, leave the dual carriageway at Bullington Cross, taking the A303 (A30) west towards Andover. Follow instructions as from Winchester after Bullington Cross.

Approaching Andover on the A343 via Hurstbourne Tarrant, go through Enham Alamein to the outskirts of Andover. At the first roundabout turn right (2nd Exit) towards Charlton. Go straight ahead at the next small roundabout and turn right at the next roundabout (3rd exit) towards Charlton. In Charlton village turn left at the next MINI roundabout, opposite the Royal Oak Pub. Follow this road past Tescos, under the ring road bridge and up the hill. Drop down the hill and turn right at the bottom (on a blind corner!) into Tollgate Road. Follow Tollgate road until it becomes The Drove, adjacent to a row of shops. In the Drove road turn right into Brackenbury, which is the next road after the shops. Follow this housing estate road straight ahead until you reach Andover Tennis Club. The courts are in front of you. Turn to your right to enter the car park and after parking your car, walk up the path on the far side (not the side that you drove in!) to the clubhouse.

From Andover Town Centre.

Take the Weyhill Road out of town. Stay on the Weyhill Road, leaving the Salisbury road on your left, passing the TVBC Council Offices at Beech Hurst (Mini roundabout – go straight ahead.) At the next roundabout by the Railway Tavern Pub, go straight ahead. Cross over the railway (bridge) and turn right into the Drove, between Tesco Metro and the Ford Doves Garage. Go along the Drove until you reach Brackenbury, the 5th road on your left. Brackenbury is approximately half a mile along the Drove.
